Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data FRS collects through this website and through our work for clients, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We handle personal data in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

  1. 01Who we are

    FRS is the trading name of FRANS ECOMMERCE ENTERPRISE, registered in Malaysia under number 202003155151 (003128294-A). For anything about your personal data, write to [email protected].

  2. 02What we collect

    • When you send the contact form: your name, email address and message, what the message is about, and, if you give them, your company name and phone number. We also note the language you were reading the site in, so we can reply in it.
    • To stop the form being flooded, each message is stored with a one-way code made from your internet address. It lets us count repeated messages from the same place; it cannot be turned back into the address, and the address itself is not kept.
    • When you become a client: the contact details and project information we need to do the work, kept in our CRM.

    We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not follow you across other websites.

  3. 03Cookies and storage

    • A cookie named lang remembers the language you picked, for a year.
    • Your choice of a light or dark theme is kept in your own browser's storage and is never sent to us.
    • Staff who sign in to our back office get a session cookie. Visitors to the site do not.

  4. 04Why we use it

    • To read and answer your message, and to prepare a quote.
    • To send you an email confirming that we received your message.
    • To carry out a project and keep you informed of its progress.
    • To keep the website and our systems secure.

  5. 05Who can see it

    Only FRS staff with an account for our back office or CRM, and each account sees only what its role allows. We do not sell personal data or share it for marketing.

    We use service providers to host the website and to deliver email. They handle the data only to provide that service to us.

  6. 06How long we keep it

    An enquiry is kept for as long as it is useful to follow it up, and deleted sooner if you ask. Client records are kept for as long as the work, and the law, require.

  7. 07Your rights

    Under the PDPA you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw your consent to our using it. Write to [email protected] and we will answer within 21 days.

  8. 08Changes to this policy

    When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
